We scour the internet to find the best solution to making our hair shinier, stronger, thicker, and overall healthier. We admire movie stars that seem to have perfect shiny locks and want to have movie star hair. Often in our search for the best solution, we overlook the obvious, vitamins!
Pantothenic acid and hair - primary benefits
- reduces stress, improving overall health

- prevents againg effects on hair (graying)
- helps body use other nutrients
- improves energy levels

The fact is vitamins are natural occurring ingredients to produce healthy hair. Healthy hair and appearance starts with our inside health. One of the most essential vitamins to improving our overall hair health is pantothenic acid, also known as vitamin B-5. It has also been dubbed as a "stress reducing" vitamin.
This yellow organic compound is essential in having a healthy productive metabolism. Being a water soluble vitamin, we have to replenish our Vitamin-B5 as it is reduced throughout the day. Besides it's metabolic benefits, it is also essential for healthy, shiny, damage resistant hair. Pantothenic acid may also prevent hair from graying as it has been shown to prevent hair from turning grey in laboratory rats.
The benefit of pantothenic acid seem to be limitless. It helps the body utilize vitamins, builds anti-bodies to fight infection, releases energy, reduces stress, and of course improves the appearance and health of your hair. There really doesn't seem to be a reason to not supplement with B-5. There are several hair vitamins loaded with pantothenic acid (vitamin b5) that will produce results and improve your hair's overall health and growth. |
